A wonderful survey of plants including may flowering plants. These images often come from books from the mid 1800's by Charles Lemaire and published by Ambroise Verschaffelt. Much of this work comes from Ghent (Gand) “The City of Flowers” and back in the 1800's was the center of Horticulture in the world. Ghent is the historic capital of Flanders and one of Belgium’s oldest cities.
